Visitors Programme during festival De Betovering (20–21 October)
From 17 to 25 October 2025, De Betovering (English: The Enchantment) takes place in The Hague. The festival is spread across multiple venues and focuses on children up to 12 years old. During the festival, the Fund facilitates the visit of international programmers to strengthen the international visibility of the sector.
Visitors Programme
The festival will host a visitors programme on 20 and 21 October. During this programme, professionals from the field are invited to attend performances and take part in networking events. The aim is to foster new connections and explore possibilities for future collaborations.
The visitors programme on 20 and 21 October will focus, among other things, on performances around the theme of working in the neighbourhoods. This links to Betovering Buiten, a programme in which art and performances take place in residential areas, involving local residents and children. There will also be a networking event organised by ASSITEJ NL. The festival organises the visitors programme, while the Fund finances the participation of international professionals.
Please note: professionals can no longer register for the regular professionals programme of De Betovering. However, programmers are still welcome at other times. If you are interested, please contact Anja Krans at a.krans@performingartsfund.nl

About Festival De Betovering
Festival De Betovering (“The Enchantment”) is an annual international arts festival for children and young audiences (up to about 12 years old) in The Hague. The programme includes performances by Theatre Artemis, de Horde, Het Filiaal, Theatre Sonnevanck, Garage TDI, Studio Figur, BOG., De Dansers and Toneelmakerij. The line-up covers a mix of genres: dance, movement theatre, music theatre and drama. Many performances are listed as LNP (Language No Problem).
